Spend eight weeks in South Korea. Applications are now open for the UNESCO Wonju Literary Residency 2025. This fully-funded residency will take place in Wonju , Gangwon Province, South Korea. The program will last eight weeks and will run from September 1 to October 31, 2025. This program invites writers and artists associated with cities that constitute Cities of Literature. Approximately 16 to 19 writers and artists will reside at the Toji Cultural Center. Applications are free.   • There are no mandatory requirements for residents during their stay.
  • You will need at least B2 level of English to communicate during your stay.
